Modern vehicles have enhanced functionality ranging from internet access, digital radio, and hands-free phone systems to auto emergency response systems. As the range of services available within a vehicle expand the need for communication and data transfer increases. To achieve this level of communication special antenna systems are required.

FPC’s are particularly suited to this application; due to their flat and flexible form they can be fitted into multiple positions on the vehicle or indeed into the windshield or back-lite. The ability to etch high precision features on FPC’s make them suitable for high frequency performance critical applications.

With controlled defined solder deposits, adhesive preforms and approved automotive connectors already attached these are easily and reliably incorporated into the vehicle.
